I don't know if it's been recommended yet, but Chainsawman is one of those shounen manga but at the same time isn't. The main character for example is just an easy uneducated teenager who....makes questionable decisions and remarks. For example, because he was raised poorly and had almost no education, he doesn't know any better. So when a person was offering him a place to stay and eat waffles as breakfast, he made a remark that it sounds like heaven to him. Another thing is when he was fighting an new enemy, he doesn't beat them up with new super powers. Nope, he just ... Thought of a new movement to attack the enemy with and somehow it succeeded. It's still ongoing and it really got good characters build-up and synergy in my opinion.
