A far simpler solution would be to forward your own IP address and run the server from your own machine. There's plenty of tutorials online but here are the basics:

Open [insert web browser here] and type 192.168.1.1 into your address bar.

Log into your router if you know the username and password. If you don't know it or haven't set it before, the login is typically "admin" and "password" or just "admin".

Press [Windows Key]+R at the same time and type "cmd" in the prompt that comes up. In the command prompt type "ipconfig" and look for a setting called "IPV4 Address: 192.168.1.xxx". Write this down.

Reserve the DHCP for your device so that your internal IP doesn't change if you disconnect. Then find a setting or menu called Advanced Routing or Port Forwarding (or something to that effect).

Forward the port 25565 (Internal and External) to your device's IP, including both TCP and UDP protocol.

That's a watered down explanation, like... Whole Milk versus 1% milk (aka white water). If you want me to make a youtube video going in much more depth let me know. I'd be more than happy to.
