I've been on a spokon binge lately and started reading Giant Killing. I'm not invested in football or anything but this one is different, the perspective, while still being generally focused on the team as a whole, is on the manager/coach of the team which is new and also exciting. The action is really grounded with nearly zero bullshit superpower moments a la prince of tennis. Another cool thing is that the team is not made up by highschoolers but by adults playing in a underdog team of the first division of professional japanese football, giant killing is the "thing" they are supposed to do, which is to beat the top teams while rising from the last spot of the tournament. I'm really suggesting this one to anyone even slightly interested
