Is it possible to hack somebody's snapchat account?

I had to post this on another thread and I never got a response so I hope I can get one here because I'm genuinely curious the security integrity of Snapchat.

1. Is it possible for somebody to access an individual's Texts, Snaps, Passwords, Etc?

1. (A): If so how does somebody to access this information

2. Is Snapchat safe in general? I.E sending pictures, password sharing etc.


If anybody can answer just one of these questions that would be much appreciated.
