Fusion, works with a node-based compositing system. Your first glance at a completed flow graph can easily send you back to the more primitive layers found in After Effects. Its easy to read whats in your timeline and where that layer is applied within the composition with layers. However, the moment you learn how to read a node flowchart, which will be in a few sentences, itll make it all the clearer and perhaps more favorable than After Effects.
