Oxygen Wrote: Wth a 50GB MySQL error log? what did you do to the MySQL to get that big of a error log
Pretty much,
the error log was making the VPS slow because it used ALL the RAM.
Thus mysql was losing connection during querys, reporting a detailed error to the log, and in less then 12 hours it was over 50GB and used all are HDD>

They are simple, free, and easy to use. FTP server sometimes does not connect but that does not bother me as I can come back later :noh:

Yeah, this isn't normal, you clearly have a misconfig or a site error.
I have 4 VPS's, 1 load-balancer, 2 NGINX+PHP5-FPM and 1 MySQL. All on Ubuntu 14.04 and my MySQL server is perfectly fine on defaults.
Nice The website is running perfect now that I disabled error logging. Though I'm gonna enable it for 10minutes and see if anything goes in the error log.
'load-balancer' what do you mean by that?
And also, how much ram/$ per month?
And I know I shouldn't but I use ubuntu 12 instead of 14.
