How to sleep fast?

old post but here is a way I sleep fast personally to the others who view and need help from this forum.

1. Keeping the room dark.
2. Having any type of noise (I personally do white noise).
3. Being calm and not stressing etc.
4. Warm shower before bed.
5. Avoid caffeine and Nicotine.
6. Mediate before or while sleeping.
7. keep the temperature cool (20°C- 22°C works for me).
8. Obviously drink water throughout the day but limit it in the evening.
9. Wear comforting clothing.
10. If you can't fall asleep after 20 minutes, get out of bed and do a quiet, relaxing activity until you feel sleepy.
11. Sleep in a comfortable position.
12. Try the 4-7-8 breathing technique where you breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 7 seconds, and exhale for 8 seconds.
13. Don't overthink.
14. Exercise to relax your body before sleeping.
15. Wear socks (never tried before but people had said it had helped them before)
