PureVPN Logs Helped FBI Net Alleged Cyberstalker

My uncle was investigated by the NSA for possible bomb, he was buying bulk chemicals for his garden and a few other things and they got worried quick after someone tipped them off at the store. He wasn't allowed back for a year as they didn't think he could go through all that without something going on. Though I guess for context having bomb threats and actual bombs go off (no injures) justifies that but still. He was in the community for years, and went there often for other things over the years but nope all of the sudden bomb maker when new casher joined.
