How did you get into anime?

Kind of a funny story.

I had this one kid in my junior high class who was addicted to Naruto and would always run around in gym like the ninjas.
He also wouldn't shut up about it so I decided to give it a try.
Anime then ended up being my main source of entertainment for the next few years.
