How did you get into anime?

#1 When I was little I started watching shows like One Piece, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh and many more years ago but didn't really watch them religiously. I used to own little toys/figurines, cards and had a big Pikachu plushie, but that was before I knew what it was. Then I got hooked to Dragon Ball Z, and then went online to look for more similar shows and that's how it all started. Now that I've shared my story, share yours. ^^

First couple shows for me were: Pokmon, YGO, D-Gray Man, Shaman King, Zach Bell

anime and was a weeb till the age of 13 then I'm like, I don't have time for this shit so I watch anime like once a year now. But to this day,

#5 I used to be really into Yu-Gi-Oh as a kid as it was always on the TV but I didn't realise it's anime. When I was 11 or so my cousin introduced me to Naruto and that's when I started watching anime.

I also got exposed to anime on Jetix haha, I remember them broadcasting Medabots, Beyblade and Shaman King on there. It was dubbed in dutch it was not that bad honestly. Never watched anything on Adultswim though, I had no clue they broadcasted anime shows.

I also didn't know what anime was. I had no clue it was Japanese made animations, I just assumed it was American lol.
