Why is anime so cool

They are cool because they are CARTOONS + serious plot. I mean, the target of these shows are not childs, but teenagers or even adults. Also, people who watch anime tend to love Japanese culture, and appreciate it. So I think that this is what makes Anime cool and different from other kind of shows ^^
