Why is anime so cool

I see that there are a lot of anime fans here, and I just want to know what makes anime so awesome? ?

I'm interested in knowing..

Because in anime there are allot more things you can do then you could with cgi.
Of course we are getting very close but just not there yet.

Not because its "cool" just because its better quality compared to what western animation studios make. And most of the western animation shows are aimed towards children so I don't enjoy watching them while Japanese studios make shows aimed towards teens and adults most of the time.

Anime is Anime that`s the main reason it`s cool. It also has cool characters in!

kinda like what pieterw said, it's WAY easier to create specific environments, creatures, and characters than it is with CGI or traditional acting.

I don't like anime. But I like hentai. And no, I'm not addict. It's just fun.

They are cool because they are CARTOONS + serious plot. I mean, the target of these shows are not childs, but teenagers or even adults. Also, people who watch anime tend to love Japanese culture, and appreciate it. So I think that this is what makes Anime cool and different from other kind of shows ^^

I love cartoons, and an interesting plot. Anime has both.
