If I see a forum filled with leechers and default avatars left and right, it ain't a good look. I made a joke that the leechers are doing a better job making lounge topics but the responses are utter doodoo.

Wouldn't that be more of an argument for better moderation and the community as you say currently not doing much? Or is that where you now tell us they stop you from clicking the reply or new thread button? Are you all being overwhelmed by a couple of leechers posting more than you? Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwshit.

The point of me replying is to make it clear to you that number 3, effectively stone walling a whole user group, sucks. I didn't intend nor desire a debate on leechers on a forum of which adopts a niche where leechers focus (duh).
