How did you get into anime?

Well the first time I watch anime around 9 y.o,i used to watch doraemon and gundam back then. Because of those anime, i started to like anime things. I subscribed to anime magazine and delivered every month, just to see every new released anime to be watched. Well for now, the magazine is dead, and i tend to see what's hot in youtube, cause i don't know any magazine that up to date enough to give me news about new good released anime.
