What is new is a blending of rock with electronic, rap, etc. We celebrate old bands from the 70s, and the biggest new rock band right now is Greta Van Fleet which just emulates a band from the 70s. New things are happening in those other genres, so it's where people flock. Rock will have a comeback someday.
