RE: Best PhP IDE?! 09-08-2021, 12:35 PM #24 I like Notepad++ for quick edits. PhpStorm is great when you want to get your hands dirty and dive deep into a codebase. There are a ton of options and it takes a while to customise with a lot of great themes. It keeps getting better with every new version.
