For a long time, I didn't kept me busy with security and security related topics. But now I want to focus again on this subjects, I want to gain knowledge related to (ethical) hacking, pentesting, rev-engineering, malw& bots. Not only about using some tools and/or creating them, but also to secure system against them.
As an IT-student, I have some knowledge about some of the subjects and I've read once a lot about them. I also have programming knowledge.
What would you suggest me, where to start? Which books and tools will you suggest me? And which OS will you recommend me to run when I work on these subjects?
