If you are outside of these countries, you need to find another free phone app - one that works in your country or a temp phone number. However, you get unlimited calls and unlimited text messages, so once you get your number, all you have to do is send it to your friends and family so they can call you and find out when you call them. If you already have a phone for which you pay a monthly fee, you can download and use the TextNow app to save some money.
