Sure, heavy animators and content with Beefy Rendering loads need the power. And there is still only 2-3 Processors that can take us to 128gb RAM

But for the common consumer 2gb has only just vanished! The lowest budget computer you see these days caps at 4gbRam and the highest in the store would be a mere 32gb.

Safe to say if you've got a computer with 8gb RAM it should still stay strong for another 3-4 years,
But soon enough we will enter the era of a 16gb Standard with an SSD being Essential over the goodol' HardDrive.

What do you guys think, are you prepared for Technology to Boost forward? Especially with AI on the brink.

With 16 Gb of ram and an SSD disk, you would already be prepared, although if the AI is going to be local processing if you need a top-of-the-range cpu.

Here in the UK you can still buy budget laptops with 2GB RAM, Celeron Quad Core and 32GB MMC storage. I don't even see the point in making them laptops unless you want to buy another in a month's time.

16GB is more than enough for even hardcore gaming...

Yeah, I agree. If 16gb can last me with with heavy gaming, I mean fuck me 64gb could make me breakfast and wipe my ass at the same time. Its no where needed yet lol.
