Features:
Drive-by Shooting:Passengers can fire their weapons out the window. Not only this but other people can fire their weapons INTO your car and kill you or your passengers without fully destroying the vehicle. Many config options are available to tweak or disable this feature.
Advanced damage system:Cars take damage from crashing, being shot or being blown up. Tires can also be shot out to slow or cripple a vehicle. Vehicles will become disabled and eject all passengers when they are destroyed. They can also be set to explode upon death in the config options.
Vehicle modding:Install nitrous tanks, bulletproof glass, alarm systems and many other mods on your vehicles to improve their capabilities.
Easy translation system:English, French, and German available by default
Headlights & Police Sirens:Light up dark roads or get into adrenaline pumping police chases.
Spike strips:Stop fleeing criminals by blowing all their tires out
Speed limits & enforcement:Make people drive responsibly by setting a speed limit. Police can be given a speed camera that can be used to check and auto-apply wanted levels to speeders. Use your safe cruise mode when driving to make sure your car automatically stays below the speed limit.
In-Vehicle menu:Hold Q to open up your vehicle menu when driving. From here you can see how damaged your vehicle is, what mods you have installed and also use whatever features the vehicle has installed such as headlights, mouse assisted steering, safe cruise mode, etc.
Anti minging/griefing options:Options exist to disable damage from cars colliding into players completely, making "carDM" completely impossible. You can also do things such as disable damage on cars that are parked, and empty, so cheeky little buggers can't slash your tires or blow your ride up while you're getting a burger at McDonald's.
Optimized server performance:All fancy effects etc. are handled entirely client-side + networking overhead has been optimized a fair bit, meaning NovaCars should create a minimal performance footprint on the server
Completely DRM Free:Yep, that's right, no buggy, crappy DRM service bringing your server to a crashing halt whenever it malfunctions.
