A solid laptop choice?

Now i'm not looking to fully game on it at all (maybe launch garry's mod or whatever similar on it on rare occasions).
I'm looking up to 500-600 max range. Something that's good for programming and overall is great for on the go uses and not a chromebook.

(I live in canada, so stores like factory direct, canada computers, etc.. relevant only).

This right here isn't a bad choice its only $589. Though if you want something better you're gonna have to spend a little bit more. I'm not sure if newegg.com is international but look anyways.
