I am thinking of grabbing the new Ryzen CPU and selling my intel rig when the new chips come out.
What do you guys think? Think they will live up to there expectations ?
Worth switching to a Ryzen 9 3900X from Intel i7-4790k ?

Think so? I dunno I hear mixed things about the ryzen chips lol.
But Then again the price point is amazing.
I could sell my GPU and get the latest Ryzen CPU then the rest of the rig to complete the build when they come out I might do that.

Edit Down grade to like a EVGA 1060 and then upgrade after a while

Not sure if that's going to be worth it money wise as you're going to need to replace a lot. And selling just cpu, mobo + memory will probably make you less.
But if you got the money I think it would be a really good build.

It may not be worth the money but it also sounds like its gunna help your pc. Honestly just take a step back and think about what u wanna do and dont jump on anything.
