I am looking to upgrade my prcessor from a i7 7700k and am deciding on either a 3700x or i7 9700k.

Thanks the input!

I'm using Intel,
Intel for Work
and
AMD for Gaming

AMD is cheaper then intel and is better than intel, intel is very bad.

frankly amd has become much better in the last year when they sold their foundry, and is starting to have better engraving, not to mention the prices of totally smoked intel.

AMD has really caught up to Intel the past couple years. I mean if you have the money, def go with intel.

I'm using Intel 3rd generation for my workplace and I would say it's not too bad thou, but I'll like to try AMD if I got enough budget for it.

It depends, for CPUs its a matter of price per performance or certain features and compatibilities only intel delivers on, for GPUs AMD clearly since intel only makes integrated gpus at the moment

I always liked Intel because they made powerful processors but recently they started to do refreshed versions of old processors which did not change anything in their functioning ... exactly the same as Nvidia does with the GPU Super, now I respect AMD
