Yes but when you like a post you like it for the content. Most of the content on profile comments are "dis guy is kool"

And thus, do not need to be liked. A not-so-elegant solution would be to make profile comment likes not count towards your received/given counters.

I can agree with what Zenith said. I can see someone posting something like "this user has the purest form of autism" and people would upvote that. Also, question, if x comment gets x amount of likes would it show up on the front of comments or it'll keep its place?

Thats basically saying the same thing for rep. We should just remove rep.

I think this would be a nice implementation. I definitely support this idea.

No rep is leaving it on a persons profile. This is leaving a like on a comment on a profile. I see no reason why. It won't hurt, but is it worth the time to put in?

Liking a comment is liking a post. Don't see what's wrong with it. Repping a profile is like a posting a comment with rep. Still a comment though. It likes saying what was the point of implementing the liking the post system or rep system.

It's like making a liking system for rep.

"Yes I like this rep post I will give it a like"

See I like the idea, But then people will just abuse it and send out hate comments to... Which will ruin the profiles.

Well the difference between both is with comments staff will remove it so wouldn't really be much of an issue.
