I've been trying to get into him and like him since I've read about him in a Malcolm Gladwell book ('Blink', I believe the title was), since it sung his praises, but... I dunno. Every thing I listen to from him just isn't my thing. I just tried ELEMENT. and Alright. HUMBLE. was okay, I guess

Maybe I'm just not getting hit with the right songs, so does anyone have any suggestions?

Try giving Good Kid, Maad City a listen. Just the whole album from start to finish. The beauty of his music is that the albums is so well-crafted and nice put together. Not everything is bangers, but everything is worth a listen

king kunta is really great i remember when eminem called him to the studio to do a verse and eminem told everyone to go out just to see kendrick write his own verse and he did and it made eminem say that kendrick is the greatest.

I did like his music but he spoilt everything with his showing during the fangirl was singing his rap lyrics and said n word and he got pissed off and began to teach her the manners. But she just said a word from a song without meaning anything bad.

Try Untitled Unmastered, it's made like a jazz album, so even if you're really not into it musically, the experience will be cool

Kendrick is definitely one of the best artists to come out in a long time Hip-Hop wise.

Try Overly Dedicated and Section 80 to get a good understanding of his vibe when most ppl started discovering him. Good Kidd Madd City is also a classic.
