Accepted Archiving feature

Basically do what Reddit does as well.

Any thread that hasn't gotten any activity in the last 6 months,get closed and can only be viewed.
Perhaps a post could be made,but only by exceptions done by the staff or for a good reason.

Time limit is a relevant;feel free to change it.

it's a good idea, it will force new people to "visit" others threads but it's not gonna decrease the forum activity ?

The main issue this tackles with is people spamming older threads for credits,and those older ones bump the newer ones,reducing their popularity.
If a topic is hot,it will most likely remain active,like the "How old are you" thread.

Again,the main idea here is to circulate threads and not reive older ones,so that the older members here may also feel like posting a reply.
Personally,I wouldn't like to comment on a thread that I have already commented on.And right now,maybe interesting ones are being created,only to fade because repeated threads take all the spotlight.

Perhaps it's rough around the edges, but the main idea is this one.
