Brief Description:

The Blue Thumb award is an award granted to people who have over 500/1000 likes received on the Forums. Likes are given when people provide contributions, funny posts, useful tips, or any other comment that involved some sort of positive way. We have an award for people with over 100 reputations, for people who have reported over 500 posts, and for people who have shitposted enough to gain a "xx.xx" post award. I like the Blue Thumb name, it references Facebook's iconic Like button known as "The Blue Thumb' or just as the Like button. We already have Green for similar awards, so Blue would be a nice addition as well. Of course, misusageof the like feature will have consequences. As the current like count in our postbit doesn't really represent anything, the Blue Thumb would be a nice goal, as well as add-on for the already like count in the postbit.

i love this idea and i'd love to see more awards to get, let's wait for aokis decision.

Seems like a pretty cool idea for an award. Hopefully it gets added as we don't have that many awards.

Yeah I guess a "like award" could be pretty cool, let's see what the admins think of this.

Reports can be abused.
Postcount can be abused.

Are we seriously going to consider everything to get abused? If you want to abuse it go ahead, but don't pretend like Nulled is an abuse-festwhere everyone manipulates the forum. As said in the thread as well, it has to be regulated like every other user-controllable feature.

Likes have no limits well rep you have daily limits and max amount you can give or take, reports it not that easy to abuse since you get warnings for doing so and you can't spam them as easy, to like something all you need is 1 click.

I'd definitely advise against spamming reports.
Example: Reporting 100 posts a day for 3 days in a row while staff isn't on. When at least 1/6th of the reports are false.

Staff will most likely reject your award request, especially if this isn't the first time some kind of report abuse has happened.
