Hey since the user-owned awards have been introduced i've given one or two here and there however i've noticed that no notification is given for them.
I think it would be a good idea to notify whoever received it and also since we MUST add a reason or it doesn't send it, it would be nice if the reason appeared on the notification too.

Thanks horizon.

This would be very helpful indeed. I haven't received any awards of any kind yet so I'm not sure if the non-user owned awards give a notification or not, but I agree with you how this would be beneficial, solely to help reduce time spent not knowing whether what was sent or requested was actually received.
I apologize for everything

If you request one you are PMd if its accepted or not.
But the user owned one has no notification whatsoever, but i feel a PM system for it would be abused and its also not as nice as you know what is happening. A random notification is more exciting.

If it's easy to implement it'd be useful. But if it will be a hassle it isn't worth it.

Just use the PMs when you give someone an award. It's what I did.

I've disabled half the notifications tbh. Idon't need to know when I've been repped or when someone vouches me.

But honestly this would be nice for user awards, seeing as Cuddles sends you a pm for all the other awards.

Also awards don't really come up as often as reps or vouches.
Once you get an award it either stays with you or leaves.

There should be a custom message for user owned awards that pops up, something that says something like "Surprise!" or "Hmm, what's this?"

If you know what I'm trying to say..

Probably just keep it less "cringe" thing, even just a notification or a message through the bot that says "you have been awarded X Award by X Reason ----"

If that isn't there yet, definitely a nice addition I'd say. But it's just as easy, as Bubble says to quickly shoot someone a direct message.
