"Make quoting someone not bypass minimum characters"

Currently replying to someone via a thread is a common way I see leechers use all the time to avoid the minimum character thread. It completely bypasses it as you can just type any letter and it'll work. e.g you can reply to someone with lol which you normally can't. People abuse this to spam for 15 posts or to get credits by shitposting "lol", "nice", "yep", etc.

I have to disagree with this, but maybe put a smaller limit when quoting, like 20 characters

This is something that is present with almost every forum out there. However, I don't understand what Megu-Kun is thinking reducing the actual quoted sentences to -20 characters, because then that's just more work for the person quoting the quoted.

Also, if we're going to talk about leechers and newbies using this, I'll state the fact that this is INSANELY more present within areas such as the Premium Lounges and ect then the normal lounges and subforums from what I've seen.

20 characters u still need to write and i can still spam premium lounge

I don't exactly disagree but I think that the character limit should be around 20 or 25.
It's a pretty big character limit.

So really, you want them to have to post the actual character limit once they have quoted someone? I mean, that should already be in effect in my opinion. So I support this to be honest.

This is a good idea since I see a lot of people using this to spam. Usually leeches.

Can you not edit the user settings for newer members to only be able to post to specific forum posts? Also it might be best if there was a "timer system" for new people like myself that can go into most any forum post and post a minimum of 50 characters in a small amount of time. I was wondering this...
