I recommend AdGuard as it is system-wide so it applies not only for your web browser but also for all the apps you set it to Smile
I have lifetime license for it and it wasn't even expensive. I've paid less than 30 bucks for 9 lifetime licenses which I can use on any system I want.

uBlock Origin, and uMatrix if you're really paranoid and have time on your hands to tweak each website

i have adblock and adblock plus but i've notices that for yotuube ads it goes to a white screen before letting me skip. maybe need to get the adblock specifically for youtube...

Ublock is a pretty good one

Usually I use Adblock I never had any problems with it,

AdBlock/AdBlock Plus is crap.
Switched to uBlock Origin and never looked back

i use ublock origin + tampermonkey with anti adblock killer by reek so if a website try to block my addblock it's don't work most off time

I use Wipr on a Mac, it's not perfect but it gets most things and is very lightweight compared to others

Ublock Origin blocks most of the ads and it's open-source
