Hello everyone!

This will be my second Mybb Tutorial on here and I am proud to present you assistance on making your thread prefix to stand out besides having bland text. Basically, I will teach you all how to use basic HTML to add images for Prefixes step by step. Enjoy!

Step#1 (http://prntscr.com/79v2bv)
Go to the Admin Panel Configuration which is located next to "Home". Once your in theconfigurationsettings, scroll down until you find "Thread Prefixes" where the screenshot link illustrates.

Step #2 (http://prntscr.com/79vb7r)
Once you have arrived to "Thread Prefixes", you may begin to add a new prefix to get started. Afterwards, use whatever prefix you want for your specific forum. In this case, I will be using "Prefix".

BEFORE THE NEXT STEPS, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE FOLLOWING: Step #3 (http://prntscr.com/79ve2i)
Please go to Cooltext to begin designing your prefix text. There are numerous of logo and button generators to choose from! Pick the right style for you and your community. I will be using the "Plain Text Button". Make sure the font is around 12 to avoid a large button.

Step #4 (http://prntscr.com/79vfkc)
Please save your button to your desktop and submit it to imgur. View the Screenshot for more details on how to upload the button.

Step #5 (http://prntscr.com/79vhs5)
Once you have uploaded the button, you will have 6 copy and paste sharing options on imgur. Please choose the one link that is HTML (Website and blogs) for the correct code.
*Note* If you are using a different image host and they do not provide the html code, please use the following code and add the image url yourself.
Code:
<img alt="" src="(image url)" style="width: 47px; height: 25px

Yes you may change the size of the image of your choice.

Step #6 (http://prntscr.com/79vi8k)
Congratulations! You are ready to add the html code in the admin panel. Add the code in the "Display Style". Once completed, test it in the selected forums you allowed use of.

Hopefully you enjoyed my tutorial!
Warning:
  • If your website is really slow, I do not recommend using this because it can slow your site down due to images loading.
