Advertising a Server

Lead them on a long trail on staff and tell them maybe when ever they ask for staff thats the best i can think you can do.

Lots of server owners quit just because they aren't getting the activity they dreamed of. You have to be patient, and learning patience is your first step to success. If you can consistently work on your network for at least 4 months you'll be surprised how many dedicated players you rack up. Try advertising on top server listing sites and ask for reviews on gaming forums. Keep your server simple and noob-friendly. Listen to your players and take suggestions seriously. Host contests, make it fun!

I guess having something such as a Discord server when you can advertise more easily and also users will always have a place to give suggestions would help if you can add/improve what they want/need

I am starting my own server and all I can tell you is keep it interesting. Let them have a say in some server decissions. They will stay if they fee;l valued. The oldest yet the best trick in the book
