Hello everyone, I am thinking of getting a new android smartphone. I've seen quite many and I am thinking of going for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (Specs).
But there are so many new android smartphones, I am wondering if someone has anything else to suggest, it looks like the best for it's price. I also wanted to ask if someone owns of those and can tell me if you had any problems with it.

Well, i dont have any experience of my own since i prefer the iPhone brand. I have however an Huawei P10 for work, but my coworker has a Xiaomi phone and he highly talks just positive about it. I can tell he is very satisfied. I cant tell you if he has had any problems with it, but i doubt it.

It really depends on your budget. You can pull a Galaxy S4 for $100 now and days.

All I know is that if you trade in your phone to Google, you can get a few hundred dollars off of a phone (pixel 1 now sells for like $400?)

Xiaomi phones are very good and nowadays have a global coverage, if you want a "budget" premium quality, you would go with Mi

The Moto G5 Plus is a GREAT value. 4K video, a wide angle lens, a Snapdragon 625, NFC, and more for around $230, and $190 if you have Amazon Prime.

If you wanted to expand your budget a little bit, the OnePlus 5 is an obvious choice.

The phone I have is technically a budget phone. It's an LG V20, and the price for it has dramatically decreased because the V30 has been released. The phone has HIFI audio, both a DAC and is capable of recording HIFI audio, two GREAT professional level cameras, and much more. I got it for about $400, but you can get it as low as $300.
