There are several ways to earn credits. You can create threads or posts and they are considered as giving back to the community. They can also be won by participating in the raffle or inside the Arcade.
Each time someone unlocks on of your posted resources, you will receive 2 credits.

What you can do to earn credits is to reply to other peoples threads

i just recently learned you could gain credits by messaging
