Find a reason why you want to change, do it for yourself, not to attract women, if you workout for the wrong reasons you will never be content/motivated to actually get up and do it.
Take motivation you have in other things and then apply them to working out. Ex: Like "getting good" at video games? Then get good at real life. A lot of my motivations come out of disgust for myself so I get motivated to change for the better. I also get motivated to prove others wrong when they think I can't. The "others" could honestly be me. It's super powerful. I hate myself in a healthy way, and want to become better. So just find whatever motivates you.
Just remember you don't have motivation. You do things that help you get motivated. It's a process, not a possession. Like when I don't feel like working out, I put on my aggressive jams and I get motivated to feel like a lunk and workout. I put things I don't want to do in front of me and do the bare minimum, and start doing the whole thing. You just gotta start tricking your mind into doing things. I would honestly recommend looking up on youtube "You Will Never Be Lazy Again | Jim Kwik." Have an open mind.
For you to get better you have to want it, you can't just kinda want it. If you have a hard time waking up, you would rather go to bed, than start your day. You have to fully want things, and constantly seek out resources to keep you motivated and find new ways. It's a process, and it takes time, but you'll never forget it. It's about the journey and not the destination. I would rather go to the gym get no gains, than not go to the gym at all. It's a life style, and it's discipline, and I take pride in that. Always take pride in what you do no matter how small.
