Am I the only one that feels Riot's been lazy on LoL?

Don't get me wrong I love Riot with all of their faults but of all of it this last event was supposed to be one of the best ones so far in terms of lore but it felt like all they did was make skins for people to empty their pockets and that's it the lore and everything else was just pure poop

They probably can't put too much work on it cause of other games like TT and Valorant.
