I kknow its an anime recommendation you're after, however a manga recommendation I woul dsay is Chainsaw man! its as weird as you want it to be!

For current running animes, Attack on Titan, Seven Deadly Sins, Demon Slayer. For finished anime, FMA Brotherhood is good people say. Wasn't able to finish it i found it too dark lol
