Anime or manga?

Honestly I don't know why but nowadays I find it easier to sit down on my free time and read manga than watch anime. I'm really not sure why since it used to be the other way around 100%, no time to read manga but watching an episode and have it go by so fast. I'll always prefer anime since it just brings everything to life but manga is something I find myself going out of my way to do.

I start with manga and then I go to anime because it adds a lot of things between music, animation, feelings, etc.

I would prefer Anime since you are able to feel more emotions and hyped by the animation and background music that they put instead of just reading pictures with words. No offense and this is just my opinion. Manga is good if you want to know the story already but if you want to enjoy it to the maximum level without knowing whats gonna happen than better wait for the anime. Unless we are talking about hunter x hunter

I feel like a shitbird if I totally disregard a manga and wait for an anime, because someone sat down for hours and hours to put their thoughts onto paper and I feel like the least I could do is read it. On top of that, I grew up on reading manga, so it'll always be the manga for me.
