Well it depends if you're looking for pay sites or free sites. I'm not to up on all the free sites for watching anime; I do know there is quite a few out there, but I'm not to sure on the deets for them as far as the catalogue they offer and the quality of their content.

As for the pay sites, the big three are Crunchyroll, AnimeLab, and Funimation.

Crunchyroll has a free tier, but it is heavy on ads. The premium plan is like $9 a month I think. The one big downside to Crunchyroll is that not all of its content is offered worldwide. So if you want to partake in all of what Crunchyroll has to offer, you're gonna need a VPN.

AnimeLab, I'm not too familiar with. When I was choosing my anime streaming site I remember coming across it and at that time it was like $8 or $9 a month. It's catalogue at the time was not nearly as big as Crunchyroll's. But it did offer simulcasts for select shows airing in Japan.

Funimation is the one that I subscribe to. There are two paid tiers, one for $6/mo and one for $8/mo. I personally do the $8 for the simple fact that it allows up to 5 simultaneous streams versus 2 on the $6 plan; I have a lot of people in the house who like anime so it works better for us. But Funimation has a relatively large library of content with a lot of English dubbed content, and they are quick to add the dubbed content too, which is great for me. They also have simulcasts and even simuldubs as well. I'm not entirely sure how their library stacks up with Crunchyroll, that would take a little bit of research.

As for recommendations, that's hard because I don't really know your tastes. I myself am into sci-fi, action, and martial arts. So I would probably steer you towards Star Blazers, Outlaw Star, and Naruto.

Anyways, hope this helps.
