Another Life - worst sci-fi TV ever?

Just watched episode 3 of "Another Life" on Netflix and had to switch it off part way through. What an absolute pile! What on earth were Netflix thinking?!

Utterly unlikable bunch of childish a-holes, sent on some undefined mission while some random bloke plays music to an obelisk?!

I mean, I love sci-fi but I just don't know what this is. Maybe Firefly spoiled future TV shows for me, but really - Another Life is utterly appalling. Thoughts?
