Hello,

I have recently been getting into my horror movies and was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations?
I have been watching some of the classics like the shining and IT.
Anything that doesn't have too many jump scares since I think this just defeats the purpose of a horror film.
They just feel too cheap.

Thanks Smile

Lucky you if you haven't seen a lot of them - some of the classics are absolutely outstanding!

Halloween
The Blair Witch Project
Alien
Scream

The Conjuring, Annabel, etc..

They do have jumpscares but the atmosphere will also frighten the shit out of you.

Halloween all the way, bro. It's a good beginners movie on horror. You are probably not finding good ones after the 2000s.
