People always overthink learning coding languages (including myself), just throw yourself into a project and you'll get the hang of it.

One of the best ways to learn a language, whether or not a programming language, is to just use it. Think of something you'd like to make and start. Once you get stuck on something, use google/youtube/forums to find a solution. Good luck.

Steal other people's code.

Sounds bad but I don't mean publish it and claim it as your own. What I mean by that is to find a project on GitHub for example to see what other developers are creating and using their code to help you learn is one of the best ways.

I like going through the leaks on random code and finding out what makes things tick.

I always think the best way is to just hop in on a project and learn as you come to stopping points.
