Any tips for a complete newbie

Hi guys and gals,

So I come from a background of mainly FPS shooters like COD and Counter Strike, but have always wondered about LoL in the back of my mind, so today I downloaded and installed it and from watching some videos on it found that I should rank up using bots before going into proper matches.

However, I see so many champions to play and tbh it's quite daunting; I prefer to play quite aggressivly but also want a ranged champion but there are so many I don't even know what to pick as my main.

Play the "noob" champs that is very easy but the best tip is train hard!

Yeah. Try to start playing with bots you know.

Moderate level are good. Peaple with you are most of the time very good so play with your level.

Practice makes perfect friend. Play all the roles until you find one you like best, and play that! You'll eventually become good at the champions you consistently play, so don't sweat it.

Gonna try it when I rank up a bit :D Looks like my type of champ

Thanks everyone for the help, I'm gonna grind the game over the next couple weeks and see how it goes

Use minions as shield.

Minions in lane phase are generaly useful.
If enemy hit you by auto attack or single target skill he will get minions focus.
Most of skillshots are being blocked by minions.

And remember that minions are good for gold farming.
