Any tutorial for profile tabs?

Well i was searching for a profile tabs tutorial googled a bit around.

And found this

But in my way this aint the best tutorial since you have to complete replace the profile code. Is there no tutorial out there that shows how to add the tabs manually to the stuff thatson the profile allready?

Was actual looking for a tut to add them as i dont want to many plugins on my board. If there is no tut for this i will use this plugin

That the plugins i installed and modifications i made to member profile are gone then

It doesn't? Add that CSS and the JQuery at the bottom of the template, and then use <li><a href="#tab1">placeholder</a></li>. It just says replace all the contents.

I just followed the tut but its not really tabs. When you click it it brings you to the part of the profile but its not that each tab holds a certain piece.

Example: Contact will include contact info.
