>Esport 4chan?

The point of a chan/imageboard is to have multiple 'boards' catered to one specific topic. Having a chan with only one topic in mind is pointless because it takes away the whole idea of having a wide array of topics to choose from on one website.

The software most chans use is tinyboard and vichan, which LITERALLY a fucking fourteen year old can set up on a VPS with ease. Having a person come in and create a whole new imageboard software is fucking stupid and has failed on a couple of chans because most of the people who volunteer to work on it are fucking incompetent.

EVEN if you found someone who was a good programmer and would make you an imageboard software, after they'd get paid for their work they'd go and make it open source and free (as in freedom to do what you'd like with it), making any reason to use it over another chan software null because all the other ones have been in development for years and are probably much more stable than what some /g/entooman made in his mother's basement.

Also, just to throw this suggestion down a hole even farther, naming a bunch of websites either you don't know anything about or know very little about makes you look very unprofessional.

You do understand I was just writing ideas down?

I have been on multiple boards since about 07. Naturally the idea would include leeching a platform.

On another note, there are currently multiple networks inside very crappy trial versions of certain services which this could replace.

I've gathered a few people, and this wasn't brought up even once, it was to demonstrate the possible variety of the style/phase of the project rather than to direct a certain path for it.

So before being so hostile, consider all of the possibilities instead of jumping into conclusions, new friend.

also, used the word 4chan instead of an imageboard because people here don't chan, they wouldn't know what I am talking about, and as I said i wanted to show the variety of posibilities.

>I have been on multiple boards since about 07.

well, newfag confirmed.

either you succ dicc at listening or you just succ at googling stuff you don't know.

These are boards:

As you can see, there is a bunch of boards on one chan. If you can read, there are multiple boards with multiple topics, all on one chan.

Example:

There's a board called '/monster/'. It's topic is monster girls. If you go to that board, all of the threads, replies, posts and content will be about monster girls.

To say that 'have been on multiple boards since about 07' is pretty much saying you've been using 4chan since around 2007, which, is pretty fucking stupid because anyone who has been using imageboards for that long would understand the fucking vocabulary and not act like a newfag who looked up 'how to 4chan' in google chrome's omnibox. Not to mention that they would have migrated to another chan, rarely ever talk about 4chan in a good light and wouldn't have a fucking reddit account. or play shitty LoL
