Apple or Samsung?

Depends.

Apple (more iOS) is far more stable an reliable.

But: Android is more open. and Samsungs are a bit cheaper than iPhones.
Bit i recommend buying a used(refurbished) iPhone (like X or 11)

I've owned 3-4 Apple phones and roughly the same number of Samsung/Android phones. I can confidently say that most of the hype over Apple v.s. Android is quite needless. Comparable phones more-or-less operate in a similar manner -- regardless of the operating system or design choice of the hardware. It mainly comes down to a decision in preference.

I personally like Apple products because of the ecosystem and minimal design. My watch, earbuds, phone, laptop, and other devices are capable of communicating with each other, which makes for a great experience. It also seems that Apple is very simple in the fact that they limit customizability and give a more "consistent" experience. This is a huge negative for many, but I generally like it -- it gives me less to worry about.

I'm in the Apple ecosystem for many many years. So its Apple for me. I like the experience of how everything just works.

Apple is a very good phone, I just think it has its downsides sometimes

ig it really depends. for example, for work imo ios is better, for personal use android is awesome, both designs are extremely beautiful, imo most people want iphone just cus of the looks, and the camera. ios ui is very clean, android's too, and people say "android camera quality if awful", but that's a lie. android cameras now a day are extremely good. ofc that android can be hella more budget than ios, but yea. that's my thought

I'd probably say samsung, because of all the customization options, but that's just how i like it.
I currently use an iPhone btw xD
