Ever since massquarantine initiated in schools, classrooms quickly moved to the virtual world. Unfortunately, they also managed to move within the boundaries of endless internet trolls as they unofficially decided that Zoom was going to be their site of choice. We've all seen the videos on YT of people down-right harassing teachers, whether it be doxingthem or calling them racial slurs. How ethical is it that all of this is taking place? On one hand, the school board seamlesslywalked into a loadedinternet troll trap, and on the other, it is clear that they are just trying to progress through tough times.

No, but they're funny to do from time to time. Teachers over react and act like they have never seen such a thing it's kind of funny though. Those teachers who over react probably have never used the internet before.

totally depends on context. if its just harmless fun and the teacher doesn't mind it, no big deal. I can see where it could easily get out of hand though.

It's not a nice thing to do, but you would think schools would be a little more competent and secure. It's definitely produced a lot of funny content.

Meh, i wouldn't say it's exactly unethical , mo one is hurt and the teacher can just kick them.
But mi wouldn't say it's ethical either since you can be annoying people just for fun.
But unethical would be a stretch imo.

I would say no just let the damn kids learn there lesson instead of being a jackass taking advantage of a shitty online meeting software.

I mean unethical is the wrong word, it doesnt detrimentaly effect people its just a slight annoyance, and theres so many workaround to it as well, like adding passwords and confirming who can come in and who cant
