Are free cryptocurrency websites legit?

No one is going to give you a substantial amount of money for free. The websites that are not scams typically don't give you enough for you to have not wasted your time meeting the requirements to receive that amount. For example, bitcoin faucets on which you complete surveys/no captchas will take you months for you to even make a decent amount of money.

Most of them are just fakes with ads just to gain them so money, but some are good like what mv13 has said. Make sure you do a lot of looking!

They're not legit, most of them give you very small amounts of money for your effort. I mean do something else to earn money, anything would take much less time.

Bro it's a waste of time. Connect with some people who has money and then begin trading and setup a mining operation and read, read, read and look at trends and analytics.

I would only trust recommended sites that are pretty well-known. I wouldn't trust most of any site that says "Free". To each their own experiences though.
