Are mining browsers legit?

I want to collect BTC for free. I want to know if mining browsers such as cryptotab are effective. I'm currently trying cryptotab (https://get.cryptobrowser.site/5380719).Thanks for future response!

They appear to be "legit" but I wouldn't call them effective. You won't be making any noticeable amount of money (assuming you have an average computer build). If you are okay with making pennies at the ***potential*** expense of your computer hardware/power then go for it. Just make sure you do your research.

I would not trust them much, especially nowadays!!

Mining in the browser is extremely slow..

Better start trading as these websites will take you forever to make a decent amount of money.

No. They drop adware on your pc and modify browser headers also phish details. Its dodgy

CPU mining much faster, u should watch tut on some websites on getting basics of bitcoin mining

There legit but take a lot of time and your browser needs to be open to mine
