Are modpacks still better than vanilla minecraft?

It really depends, there are modpacks that can transform the game into an RPG or maybe a Factory and Automation based experience, even a fantasy one with spells and magic. Whatever you choose, it can definately be more fun.

Vanilla has improved a lot with the recent updates, but modpacks are just as amazing as they used to be. It's all a matter of what you're looking to do.

im returning from fortnite and i play zelda now, but much has changed, new animals and biomes and items. I still prefer the modpacks as they are quite innovative
